СѼ ISD Parent U is a series of virtual workshops for parents and guardians to help support their student in preparation for their postsecondary journey. Each month, families gain practical tools and information on college readiness, career planning, financial aid, mental health, and more.
The September 3 session is designed to give parents of seniors an overview of what to expect during senior year. We’ll cover important college application steps, key dates, and how to support your child through the process. This is a great opportunity to stay informed and set your seniors up for success!

This session is focused on college entrance and placement exams, including the SAT, ACT, TSIA2, and AP. We’ll break down why these tests matter, how they impact college readiness, available prep resources, and how scores are used. Get the tools to help your student feel confident and prepared!

What Comes Next? First-Year College Prep for Families |
College acceptance is just the beginning! Join us for a l session covering key next steps for your student’s transition to college, including housing, meningitis vaccine, TSIA2, orientation, and more. We’ll also introduce the concept of “summer melt” and how to keep your student on track after graduation.
