Visit to register as a volunteer. Once you create a profile. The system will guide you through submitting your background check.
It usually takes 2-5 business days. You’ll receive an email from volunteerchecks@austinisd.org once it’s complete.
Once your background check is approved, you’re good to go! Just remember: All volunteers must check in at the school office through the Navigate 360 system each time they visit.
If your background check results in a disqualification, you’ll receive an email letting you know that you’re not approved to volunteer. If you believe there’s been a mistake or would like to appeal, email us at volunteerchecks@austinisd.org, and we’ll guide you through the next steps.

- Pending charges related to those offenses.
